Right now the wind is blowing like crazy. So much that I don't think a kite would be able to stay up in it.
I found a new news item on AIO wiki. This is what it says on the AIO wiki homepage under news.(In the mist of the other news)
"There is a new sampler album coming out in February 2011 called Mystery, it will feature the Jones and Parker Detecive agency, we don't know what episodes will be included yet but when we do, we'll let you know"
That sounds great!
Also don't forget, An upcoming Official podcast will feature a Q and A with the actors behind the Parker Family, if you want to submit a question leave it in their comments here.
Tomorrow "Finish What You....." airs. Whoot!
In other news, Audry from AIO Insanity commented on my last post saying.
"You're right, our little blogger community is getting pretty big! Let's see: AIO Insanity, Campbell County Connection, the AIO fan's life, the Odyssey Way, The Voice of Odyssey and now the Heart of Odyssey! We need a nickname for the not-so-little community! It takes forever to list them all out!"
The list is pretty long, along with the previously mentioned, There's also Adventures in Odyssey Blog, The Odyssey Owl, The Whit's End Podcast, The Odyssey Times, and The Unofficial AIO Podcast.
So I definitely agree that it takes forever to list them all. I thought maybe The OBC (The Odyssey Blogger community/or committee)...Do you have any suggestions for the "growing community of Odyssey-loving-news-giving-fans-that-give-their-thoughts-on the latest Odyssey news/-and-episodes? Comment here, or on The Odyssey Way.
I think I may have had more to say......but it's storming now... so I think I'm gonna end quickly. This is Freddy Jay saying "It's raining it's pouring the ol man is snoring......."

Another blog/podcast has spurted up today. It seems our little blogging community is getting bigger. This one, claims that it will over shadow us all. (Not exact words..but somewhat close). So far it's not half bad. (Besides that part...) The blog I'm talking about is The Heart of AIO. They have their first pod...err Heartcast up so go check it out.

Album 52! More info.
More information on album 52 Cause and Effect has been released. Part of that info includes that the cover that was shown in various areas is not the final version. If you would like to read more about it you should check out AIO Insanity, and The Unofficial AIO Podcast. and AIO Wiki.
Mysteries abound in Odyssey as Eugene tries to figure out why the Odyssey clocktower is counting down to a mysterious deadline and Emily Jones unmasks the phantom of the school play. Meanwhile, the crew at Whit's End tries fasting,—with hilarious results—and Wooton tries his hand at a radio show ... with no script!
Odyssey connection: On Campbell County we have started elections. Which got me thinking about elections in Odyssey. In the early days Curt ran for president (Student council of course) twice in fact. The first time he made all sorts campaign promises he most definitely couldn't keep (By Any Other Name). The second time Curt ran against Lucy. Which ended up with Curt playing the smear your opponent's reputation strategy. (It Takes Integrity). Then there's Bart who ran for mayor twice. The first being against Tom Riley (Tom for Mayor Parts I & Part II) and the second against Margret Faye (The One About Trust, Parts I & Part II). Both failed attempts and run in only the way Bart could do it. Our candidates on CC so far prove to be worthy ones unlike Bart and Curt. It'll be hard to choose when it's time to vote.
That's all for now. This is Freddy Jay saying "Elections are so much fun!"

Grandma's Visit Review
It's still raining.................and thunder storming and my dog was going crazy earlier....and now for my review of Grandma's Visit
This is Freddy Jay saying "It's still raining.......?"
- What a surprise. You'd think that someone from the family that was visiting for the wedding would have called to say that they were coming wouldn't you?And then that would spoil the surprise...
- I like the Spanish incorporated into this episode.
- Great music.
- Lot's of humorous lines, and great quotes.
- Aunt Rosalita seems like a soap opera character...(Someone on CC said this too.)
- I was glad that Eva stood up to her mother.

Review
Sigh.....
The winner for the act like Odyssey contest was revealed in the latest Official Podcast ! And the winner was Broken Window! Which was the one I voted for as well. Congrats to the winners.
The title for album 52 was revealed in the podcast...well sort of...they gave us a clue. What it means I have no idea...but am working on it. What do you think it means???
The episode Grandma's Visit is up. My review will come later today.
Odyssey Connection: Why does it have to be so dreary outside? It kinda goes with my mood yesterday. Gloomy.(Which explains my current background..... Yesterday with it being a half day we had to prepare for testing that is coming next week...We've been preparing for a while now. At least I'm not putting this off till the last moment like Robyn in "A Test for Robyn". Which is somewhat surprising, because I have the dangerous disease called chronic procrastinatitus (Like Isaac in "Isaac the Procrastinator.) But I think I'm on the path of recovery.
That's all for now. This is Freddy Jay saying " I'll get the review done when I get around to it....or later which ever comes first : )"

Odyssey Facebook page
That's right. Adventures in Odyssey has hit Facebook. This page has fun things like behind the scenes clips, pics of the characters as of right now. I'm sure more behind the scenes stuff, and other goodies are on the way as well. Or at least I hope so.
Word on the street is that Jacob of the Odyssey Scoop has another surprise up his sleeve. I think he just loves keeping us in suspense. He plans on revealing his latest surprise approximately 8640 minutes or 6 days if you want to be plain about it..Can't wait to see what it is!
On the other side of the street there's a short, yet entertaining video, and well done might I add. In this video it answers a very intriguing question. What is that question? What is this video that I'm talking about, and what site is it on? Why does the Earth evolve around the sun? Why is the grass green? Why does my dog consistently drive me insane? Why is sherbert actually spelled sorbet? Why am I asking so many questions? The answer (to the first three at least) lies on the Odyssey Way. Original Joe has made a video where...well you can see for yourself.
Odyssey Connection: Today I took a kid who goes to my church to baseball practice. It was fun to watch. But by watching for a bit, I kinda thought to myself these coaches have a bunch of work to do. But I guess as long as the kids are having fun, winning isn't as important. Unlike Bart's way of thinking in The Winning Edge. I think that is an important thing to learn. Bart was so caught up in winning that he made one of his players hurt someone else so they could win the softball game.
Well that's all for now. This is Freddy Jay saying "Ice cream time!"

When You're Right, You're Right Review
When You're Right, You're Right.
If I think of anything else may add more later.....
Anyway, This is Freddy Jay saying "So long."
- In this episode we hear more of Barrett and Emily.
- We have a brass player in Odyssey now. Barrett's playing was good. Although it's not a trumpet, I still really like it.
- Barrett's song is kinda rough, but entertaining none the less.
- Emily's line, (No offense Matthew, but you're a boy. You wouldn't know what a girl wants........Yes! In case you haven't noticed. I'm a girl!) made me think of Connie.
- The technology mentioned in this episode. Matthew being able to create a card like that sounds really cool.
- We learn more about Emily's character. She seems to have a take charge attitude.
- I can see the Jones' family competing against the Parker family for being replacement for the Barclays. The Emily/Barrett, brother/sister chemistry is pretty good.Same for the Parker siblings.
- Matthew has been in every episode so far this season. I think they could have had more balance with the character selection. But I do like Matthew. So I guess I won't complain too much.
If I think of anything else may add more later.....
Anyway, This is Freddy Jay saying "So long."

The Scoop's surprise was....!
The Odyssey Scoop's surprise was released Yesterday, as promised, and it was worth waiting for. They call it The Guide to Odyssey. It's definitely a great addition to the site. He took the different AIO Official Podcasts and chopped them up, and paired them with questions. You can check it out yourself by on the Odyssey Scoop.
As you can see I changed the toolbar again...You can help me decide which one should stay by voting in the poll located on the tool bar.(This one is Skysa, the one I originally had then switched to wibiya...now can't decide....) This one has a couple of different options I/you can use. So try it out and then vote on which one you think should stay.
Odyssey Connection: Today I listened to the episode "Go Ye Therefore". In this episode Connie tries to use a book for a guide to sharing her faith, and has several failed attempts. (Passing pamphlets out in the park, putting pamphlets into books at bookstore, covering her mother's car with bumper stickers.)After those she tries being bold in school, with the result of getting made fun of. I can totally relate to Connie in this episode. Witnessing to others isn't really that easy. A while back I went to a retreat called Dare2Share. It was a retreat where they trained you to witness then the next day you went door to door asking for canned foods and then witnessed to people. It was a new experience, and it got me out of my comfort zone. Also these retreats inspired me to get out and try to express my faith more, and make an impact to my peers. I can't say that I have been real successful...but I can say that I won't give up.
That's all for now, This is Freddy Jay singing "Tomorrow, tomorrow I love ya tomorrow, it's only a day away."

For the Birds Review
Here are some general thoughts.
- Eugene gets attacked by a dove? Comical, but realistic? I'm not so sure.
- The part where the family is discussing why pets is a bad combination for them is pretty funny. I don't really like Matthew's line "They had a suicide pact." Referring to the fish.
- Wooton's part(s) in this episode were great. Quote: Matthew: Hey maybe Wooton knows
Wooton: Wow! Well I never did before, but there's a first time for everything. What is it?. - This episode gives a little more about the Parkers.
- I like that this episode doesn't have the expected ending. The baby bird doesn't make it. Also Camilla doesn't get a dog, even though she proved how responsible she is.
- We hear the explanation behind the cover of the album.
- Camilla's scream when she sees Eugene's shaved head, priceless.

Yeah!
The new episode "For the Birds is up on the ToO.
We still don't know what the surprise is on the Odyssey Scoop, or what the mysterious email is that James the intern found. The surprise on the scoop is supposed to be revealed sometime tomorrow. Whether that is at midnight, or noon tomorrow, or 10 o'clock tomorrow night, Jacob didn't say. Can't wait to see what he's up to.

Some Nutty News
The Odyssey Scoop has another surprise for us coming soon. What is it? We still don't know. James the Intern of the Ceiling Fan is looking into it. We have some hints given to us by Jacob. You can read them on the Odyssey Scoop. One of his hints include.
"Okay, here's one more clue: It has something to do with "Adventures in Odyssey." Oh, and by the way, it will be posted on the website credited on page 200 of "The Official Guide."
"Okay, here's one more clue: It has something to do with "Adventures in Odyssey." Oh, and by the way, it will be posted on the website credited on page 200 of "The Official Guide."
At first I thought this was a major clue. I thought maybe it's gonna go on the Where Odyssey is not page, or maybe he discovered the thing we've all longed for, he found the location of Odyssey. But the way he worded it, it really doesn't tell us anything we don't already know. It will be on the Odyssey Scoop. His latest hint involves something to do with the pic of the squirrel from album 17's cover you can read more on the clue at the scoop. One person theorized that Jacob is making a site for squirrels or a special section. Whether that is the plan or not, Original Joe of the Odyssey Way, has begun a very intriguing and funny project. He calls it the Odyssey Squirrel. I can't wait to see more.
Odyssey Connection: All this talk about squirrels reminds me of a quote from Odyssey.
"Hey Rodney, Why don't you pick on someone your own IQ , Oh wait you did a squirrel."-Grady
(Something similar to that anyway.)
I had another, only it has to do with an episode in album 51 that hasn't aired yet, and I'd hate to spoil anything for those who haven't heard them all yet.... Maybe I can remember it for the day after it airs....
This is Freddy Jay saying "Nuts sound good about now...."

The deadline is up, and the finalists are posted. They narrowed it down to their top ten favorites, and now it's our job (as fans) to vote for our favorites. Check out the podcast, and the finalists. Here.

Lights Out
For some info on the upcoming Album 52 fall season you can go to aio wiki. It's not much...but maybe we'll have more to go on later.
On the Ceiling Fan Podcast theres a new feature called James the intern. What is that mysterious email? Very intriguing. Can't wait to here more.
Odyssey Connection: Today I listened to Lights Out at Whits End, even though it's not in an album anymore, you can find a link to listen free online on AIO wiki, here ---> Lights Out at Whits End. This episode is very entertaining, the ending has Tom and Whit rapping. That part made me laugh so hard. I don't think I could do much better though...This episode reminded me of times when the power went out here when I was younger. Since the TV was out we would sing songs/improvise words to songs to make the time go by. For example: We took the veggietales song "God is Bigger than the Boogey Man" and we came up with "God is Bigger than the Tornadoes." Which sounded like...
God is bigger than the Tornadoes, He's bigger than the mudslides and the twisters on TV. Oh God is bigger than the tornadoes and he's watching out for you and me.(It seems kinda lame now...but at the time it was fun...)
What kinda things do you do/used to do when the lights go (went) out? Let me know in the comments.
That's all for now. This is Freddy Jay saying "Great now that song is stuck in my head....."

Happy Easter!
Odyssey Connection: Happy Easter everyone. I hope you had a good day today. With it being Easter I listened to The Imagination Station I & II, (album 5) and The Imagination Station Revisited I & II (album 50). They are really good, and tell the death of Jesus in a powerful manner. On Easter I always get a basket full of candy. Really good candy too. I never really understood what the big bunny that delivered eggs had to do with Easter anyway. (Kinda like Santa and Christmas I guess..but he has a story though...) But the thing we can't forget is the true meaning of Easter. That Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose from the grave on the third day.Oh also if you haven't checked it out, Odyssey Way has some cool Odyssey eggs on display. You should take a look, they're great.
Now it is storming...which isn't a good thing for me because that means that I won't be able to sleep if it keeps it up when I'm ready to go to bed. You see, my dog (Abbie) sleeps in my room and she pants heavily and shakes when there's a storm. (She also doesn't like cameras any more, so taking the pic above was very difficult...)Sometimes she hides under my bed too.(a better pic is in the pics gadget in the toolbar, after you click, the pic is all the way to the right. She's not as innocent as she may look.....) When I first heard the thunder it reminded me of the episode Tornado. Three twisters hit Odyssey at the same time in that episode. We're in a tornado warning but it's past us and going east so I'm good....Another episode with a tornado in it is Stormy Weather. In this one a tornado hits as well, and Whit is hurt due to the front window getting blown out. We've had several tornado warnings here in my little po dunky town, but thankfully we've never had any serious damage.
That's all for now. "This is Freddy Jay saying Happy Easter everyone!"

Target of the Week Review
I'm Listening again as I'm typing this.
Yeah, more nelson. This episode introduces Vance King. At first he sounds like a big bully. Kinda like a Rodney but with a twist, not quite as mean or tough.
A Wooton episode! Yes! Wooton as a baseball commentator? Excellant, reminds me of when Lawrence tried. He made things interesting in the game play.
Vance now sounds more of a prankster than a bully. Somewhat harmless.
I couldn't help thinking of The Winning Edge and The Defining Moment. These two are also baseball episodes.
I like baseball. A Player on the coyotes named Mcgwire? Funny.
When Vance dropped the ball that reminded me of my own experience on the field as a little league player......course then again my glove wasn't tampered with...
Matt's confession was an admirable one, and definitely a hard thing to do. Great speech by Kent.
Conclusion:
This episode was pretty good. I liked this one a lot, and not just because baseball is my favorite sport. Vance wasn't the big bad bully I thought he was going to be. I wonder how much we're gonna see Vance in future episodes? The baseball game scene with Wooton helping Whit with the announcing was a nice touch. Chris's wrap up was good too. I think the theme was a good one to remember as well. This one is one of those that keeps you interested even though it doesn't have a lot of action and spies and stuff like that. I give this one a 5/5.

Collection is caught up YES!
The rest of the albums I ordered came in this week. Which means my collection is caught up and now I can get them as they come out. Can't wait for album 52. (I have a few on cassette that I will eventually upgrade and get on CD...)
In other news, the Odyssey Scoop and the AIO blog have revealed their surprises. The AIO blog's surprise is an interview with Bob and Jesse from the OAIOP! The Scoop's surprise is an interview on the ceiling fan with Jacob Isom.
Odyssey Connection: Yesterday as you know was April Fools Day. Both posts yesterday were jokes by the way. The second one was just for fun on the rest of the CC users. (If you want to see the threads that have to do with the CC joke, go here.)Anyway, as I was playing jokes on people, it made me think of the episode I Slap Floor. I didn't listen to it yesterday, because I'm listening to the ones I just got. (Albums 4, 10, 16, and Passages, and 51.) But it's great because Bernard tells these two kids the wild tale about what happened in Odyssey the past week and....well I won't go on much more in case you haven't heard it. but it's great.
I think that's all for now. This is Freddy Jay saying "AIO Marathon time!"

The Closing of CC
Regis the founder of Campbell County, is making a big decision. He's deciding to shut down CC...If you're on CC we need your help to not let this happen. If you've thought about joining before, today is the day to do it, because otherwise you might not get the chance. Maybe a swarm of new members will help Regis realize it's still growing or something..... Also a petition has started so be sure to sign that if you want to help keep CC up. Please help keep our beloved message board alive, otherwise that just leaves the ToO.....Sorry if I'm getting repetitive...but if we let this happen the power button of CC will be pushed and it will be shut down FOREVER! If you help thank you.

Rethinking
You know, maybe blogging about AIO isn't my thing, my style....I mean there's a ton of others out there, why not let them do that and I'll come up with something else. Maybe I'll relocate and do something called the Photographers Life. Or Keychain Insanity. Or maybe even The Trumpet Way. I don't think I am needed as an AIO reporter any longer. I hope you enjoyed my posts thus far and if you want the latest news there's always The AIO Fan's Life, The Odyssey Way and AIO Insanity.
And there's several others on the links page.
I guess that's all forever. This is Freddy Jay saying, " Can't wait to get started on my new blog. Catch ya later."
Oh one more thing. Here is a final tribute to Odyssey. Click here.
